Taking a leap hoping that this could exist I can't believe I'm doing this but I felt the need to do something so here it goes! I didn't quite like any of the posts enough to respond in the men for women so I decided to do my own and see what came out of it! My situation is complicated and I'm more or less looking for something specific that possibly doesn't exist. My situation is that I'm married but VERY unhappily so. . .separated but still married to a drunk and a abuser but wouldn't be comfortable affording to live on my own. We live together in separate rooms but that is very quickly becoming too much to handle. So right now I'm looking for a friend, someone to go out with and have fun with, someone to get to know, definitely open to a relationship but that's not the first thing on my mind. . .would really like to get to know someone first and be friends. I really want to start over but am not sure how to do that. . . What I want. . .someone who is divorced or out of a serious relationship 30-35 with a career and a kid (not a must but the Brady Bunch does come into mind when thinking about starting a new life when I already have a ), someone who is attractive and tall, clean obviously and takes some pride in how they look but isn't vain and self centered, someone who wants to start a relationship not exactly serious but not exactly a free for all either. Someone who can understand my married situation and doesn't mind it but accepts it for what it is, someone who wants to go for a run or a bike ride, get drunk on a Tuesday and laugh until our abs hurt, someone who knows that spending money buying gifts is not what's important but also knows that sometimes those things are special, someone who can take charge of a situation but also let loose the and let someone else be in charge too. Someone who is educated and a hard worker, can talk about a realm of subjects, likes music and is open to experience the best of what life has to offer. What I'm really looking to do is know that there is a reason to move on from my current situation. I really want to believe in love and happiness in a relationship. . .not fairy tale bullshit but I'm 29 years old and feel that there are many possibilities in life that I am missing out on because I made a poor choice in a partner. About me. . .attractive, tall, blonde hair, fun loving, sometimes a control freak, very athletic, I LOVE sports both watching and playing, exercising, etc; new adventures and spontaneity --like hopping a train to Chicago for the night and a baseball game while we're there; LOVE music, of all from heavy metal to songs :) ; I am strong, independent but also want to be taken care of, I love to laugh but am terrible at telling jokes, am very family oriented, LOVE -mine included, am NOT high maintenance and don't need to be doted on but it would be nice once in awhile, love to dress up with high heels or dress down in sweats and a t-shirt, appreciate but definitely don't expect them; I like to drink and get drunk and have a great time but am not a drunk and know the difference! Lastly I'm not afraid to admit that I have an overwhelming need to be swept off my feet and know that its not possible in my current relationship and never was :( I am looking for a but am not opposed to exchanging a few before that happens.
